Detector characterization for a new 12C+12C reaction study at LUNA

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(12C, p), E(cm)=1600-2400 keV; analyzed available data using Geant4 simulation; deduced possible yields, sensitivities. The Bellotti Ion Beam Facility (Bellotti IBF) located deep underground within the Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS) in Italy.

RADIOACTIVITY 214Po(α); measured decay products; deduced T1/2. Comparison with available data.
