Emergence of magnetic dipole band in 88Sr due to novel stretched coupling scheme

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 82Se(13C, X)88Sr, E=60 MeV; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ; deduced γ-ray energies and relative intensities, dco and ipdco ratios for the partial level scheme, negative parity band consisting of six magnetic dipole transitions, levels T1/2, B(M1), high-spin states. Doppler Shift Attenuation Method, Indian National Gamma Array (INGA), the Pelletron-Linac facility at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai.
