Direct observation of β and γ decay from a high-spin long-lived isomer in 187Ta
RADIOACTIVITY 187Ta(IT), (β-) [from W(136Xe, X)187Ta, E=7.2 MeV/nucleon]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ, β-γ-coin.; deduced γ-ray energies and relative intensities, J, π, tentative level and decay schemes, high-spin long-lived isomer total decay constant, T1/2, internal decay branch. Comparison with configuration-constrained potential-energy-surface (CCPES) calculations based on a Woods-Saxon (WS) potential with the so-called universal parameters and experimental data. The RIKEN Ring Cyclotron, the KISS setup at the RIKEN Nishina Center in Japan.
