First direct measurement of the spectrum emitted by the 3H(2H, γ)5He reaction and assessment of the relative yield γ1 to γ0

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 3H(d, γ)5He, E>20 keV; measured Eγ, Iγ; deduced fusion γ-rays spectral shapes, branching ratio of γ-rays from transitions to an intermediate excited state and the ground state. Comparison to the R-matrix prediction. LaBr3 scintillator combined to a LiH neutron attenuator used for deuterium-tritium (DT) reactions measurement in magnetic confinement fusion (MCF) plasma at the Joint European Torus tokamak.
