Possible wobbling phenomenon in 125Xe
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 82Se(48Ca, 5n)125Xe, E=205 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγγ-coin, γγ(θ). 125Xe; deduced levels, J, π, δ, directional correlation of oriented nuclei ratios (DCO ratios), B(E2)out/B(E2)in, B(M1)out/B(E2)in, wobbling energy. Concluded that the set of 4 negative-parity bands originates from the coupling of a h11/2 quasineutron with the ground state configuration of the even-even core. Comparison to triaxial projected shell model calculations. Systematics of experimental and calculated wobbling energy values for 125Xe, 127Xe, 133La, 133Ba, 135Pr. GAMMASPHERE array at ATLAS accelerator (ANL).
