Prompt neutron emission in 250No spontaneous fission associated with ground and isomeric state decays

RADIOACTIVITY 250No(SF) [from 204Pb(48Ca, 2n), E=226.5 MeV]; measured decay products, En, In, TOF; deduced average number of neutrons emitted per spontaneous fission, the unusually symmetrical shape of the prompt neutron multiplicity distribution associated with the ground state and K-isomer state decays. The U-400 cyclotron, the SFiNx neutron detection system.
