Cross-shell excited configurations in the structure of 34Si
RADIOACTIVITY 34,34mAl(β-)[from U(p, X), E=480 MeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ), βγγ-coin; deduced logft, β-feeding intensities. 34Si; deduced levels, J, π, γ branching ratios, δ, mixing ratios. Comparison to calculations using configuration interaction shell-model method FSU and an ab-initio approach with the valence space in medium similarity renormalizarion group (VS-IMSRG). Systematics of the negative-parity states in the even-mass silicon isotopes (30Si, 32Si, 34Si). GRIFFIN spectrometer consisting of 16 Compton suppressed HPGe clover detectors coupled with Scintillating Electron Positron Tagging ARray (SCEPTAR) consisting of ten plastic scintillator paddles and a 1 mm thin fast plastic scintillator - zero degree scintillator (ZDS) at the TRIUMF-ISAC facility.
