Understanding the total width of the 3-1 state in 12C
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(α, α), E=118, 160, 196 MeV;12C(p, t), E=67.5, 100 MeV;12C(p, p'), E=66 MeV; analyzed experimental angular distributions and excitation spectra. 12C; deduced total width of first 3- resonance. R-matrix analysis performed with a self-consistent, simultaneous fit of several high-resolution experimental excitation-energy spectra populated with direct reactions. Compared to ENSDF data and pointed on the possible sources of error in adopted value which lead to the discrepancy.
