Observation of collective modes of excitations in 59Co, 59Ni, and 61Co and the influence of the g9/2 orbital

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 48Ti(14C, 2np)59Co, 48Ti(14C, 3n)59Ni, 50Ti(14C, 2np)61Co, E=43 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ). 59,61Co, 59Ni; deduced levels, J, π, high-spin states, γ-rays deexciting oriented states (DCO ratios), polarization asymmetry, δ, bands structure, magnetic rotational structures. Comparison to shell-model calculations. FSU detector array consisting of 6 HPGe clover detectors and 3 single-crystal Ge detectors at 9 MV tandem accelerator (John D. Fox Laboratory, FSU).
