Lifetime measurements in 206Po with a shell-model interpretation

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 204Pb(16O, 14C)206Po, E=84 MeV; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ, charged particle, 14Cγ-coin. 206Po; deduced T1/2 for first 2+ and 4+ excited states, γ-transition intensities, B(E2). Recoil-distance Doppler-shift method (RDDS). Comparison to large-scale shell-model calculations. Systematics of yrast states, B(E2), B(M1), magnetic and quadrupole moments in 204Po, 206Po, 208Po. Array consisting of 11 HPGe detectors coupled with array of 6 photovoltaic pin diodes at FN-Tandem accelerator of the University of Cologne.
