Searching for resonance states in 22Ne(p, γ)23Na

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 23Na(p, p'), E=14 MeV; measured Ep, Ip, p(θ); deduced resonances. Previously reported resonance states at 8862, 8894, and 9000 keV were not observed in this experiment. Comparison to other experimental data. Relevance for 22Ne(p, γ)23Na astrophysical reaction rate calculations. Munich Q3D spectrograph with focal plane detector consisting of two gas-proportional counters backed by a plastic scintillator at tandem accelerator of the Maier-Leibnitz Laboratorium.
