Status of the ²⁴Mg (α, γ)²⁸Si reaction rate at stellar temperatures

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁸Si(α, α'), E^*=6-14 MeV; ²⁸Si(p, p'), E=18, 295 MeV; ²⁸Si(e, e'), E^*=10-13 MeV; analyzed experimental and evaluated data for levels, resonances, J, π of ²⁸Si. ²⁴Mg(α, γ), T=0.01-1.25 GK; calculated astrophysical reaction rates using RATESMC Monte Carlo code and updated nuclear data for levels in ²⁸Si; discussed effect on x-ray burst light curve. ²⁸Si; analyzed levels, resonances J, π, resonance strengths.
