Complete Glauber calculations for proton-nucleus inelastic cross sections
NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 12C, 20Ne, 28Si; calculated point-proton radii, B(E2), quadrupole deformation (for 28Si both prolate and oblate possibility); compared with published data.
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C, 20Ne, 28Si(p, p), (p, p'), E=50-1000 MeV; calculated σ(θ) using Glauber theory, Optical-Limit Approximation (OLA) and Eikonal-Distorted Wave-Impulse Approximation (DWIA); compared calculations one to the others and with available data; calculated reaction probabilities of inelastic σ on 28Si for prolate and for oblate deformations; calculated interaction σ and total reaction σ.
