The γ-ray spectroscopy studies of low-spin structures in 210Bi and 206Tl using cold neutron capture reactions
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 209Bi(n, γ), E=thermal;205Tl(n, γ), E=thermal; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using EXILL HPGe array for 209Bi reaction and also triple γγ∓coin and γγ-coin angular correlations using FIPPS for 205Tl; deduced 210Bi low spin levels, J, π; 210Bi; calculated low spin levels, J, π using shell model; deduced some 210Bi levels cannot be described by valence proton and neutron couplings, but may arise from coupling of valence particles to 3- octupole phonon of doubly-magic 208Pb core. Results for 206Tl currently in progress and preliminary.
