Structure and decay pattern of the linear-chain state in ¹⁴C

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE ¹⁴C; calculated angular-momentum projected energy surface contours in (β, γ) plane for 0+ and 1- states, positive-parity energy levels up to 10+ belonging to ground band, Kπ=0+ and 2+ triangular band, π-bond linear chain band, and σ-bond linear chain band, proton and neutron rms radii, B(E2) for positive- and negative-parity states, cluster states, α-decay reduced widths. Antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD) calculations. Comparison with available experimental data.
