Complete characterization of the fission fragments produced in reactions induced by 208Pb projectiles on proton at 500A MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(208Pb, F), E=500 MeV/nucleon; measured fission fragments, (fragment)(fragment)-coin, σ and mean velocities of fission fragments using SIS18 synchrotron and MUSIC detector system at GSI facility; deduced role of charge polarization and excitation energy gained by the fragments from analysis of correlations between the two fragments, parametrize the distance between two fission fragments at scission as function of the size of the fissioning system from analysis of the average velocities of the fission fragments, final neutron excess of the fission fragments. 58,59,60,61,62,63,64,65Co, 60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68Ni, 63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70Cu, 64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74Zn, 66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77Ga, 69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79Ge, 72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81As, 74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83Se, 78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89Kr, 80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91,92Rb, 82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91,92,93,94Sr, 84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97Y, 86,87,88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101Zr, 88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103Nb, 89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105Mo, 93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107Tc, 95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108,109,110Ru, 97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108,109,110,111,112Rh, 100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108,109,110,111,112,113,114,115Pd, 104,105,106,107,108,109,110,111,112,113,114,115,116,117Ag, 106,107,108,109,110,111,112,113,114,115,116,117,118Cd, 109,110,111,112,113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121In, 112,113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121Sn, 114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121,122,123,124,125Sb, 116,117,118,119,120,121,122,123,124,125,126,127,128Te; deduced isotopic cross sections of the fission fragments with associated statistical and systematical uncertainties.
