Proton decay branching ratio for the 6.15-MeV ¹⁸Ne level

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁷F(p, p'), E(cm)=2.0-2.6; analyzed σ(E, θ) data data. ¹⁸Ne; deduced proton decay branching ratios from 6.15-MeV level to ground and first excited state in ¹⁷F, proton widths; discussed J, π of 6.15-MeV level. Interpretation of ¹H(¹⁷F, α)¹⁴O reaction measurements and extrapolation to the astrophysically important ¹⁴O(α, p)¹⁷F reaction in αp process in x-ray bursts.
