Measurements of the breakup and neutron removal cross sections for ¹⁶C

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C(¹⁶C, X), E=46 MeV/nucleon; measured particle spectra, breakup and neutron removal σ; deduced reaction mechanism features. ¹⁶C deduced no ground-state cluster structure. Comparison with model predictions.
