2868Ni40: Magicity versus superfluidity
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(66Ni, 66Ni'), (68Ni, 68Ni'), E ≈ 50 MeV/nucleon; 208Pb(70Zn, 70Zn'), E=65.9 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, (particle)γ-coin following projectile Coulomb excitation. 70Zn, 66,68Ni deduced transitions B(E2). Comparison with shell model calculations.
