0_gs⁺ → 2₁⁺ Excitations in the Mirror Nuclei ³²Ar and ³²Si

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹⁷Au(³²Ar, ³²Ar'), (³⁰S, ³⁰S'), E ≈ 40 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, (particle)γ-coin following projectile Coulomb excitation. ¹H(³²S, p), E=42 MeV/nucleon; measured elastic and inelastic σ(θ). ^30,32S, ³²Ar deduced excitation B(E2). ³²S deduced ratio of neutron and proton matrix elements.
