New Measurement of the g Factor of the 54Cr(21+) State and Its Shell Model Interpretation

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C(54Cr, 54Cr'), E=115 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(θ, H, t), (particle)γ-coin following projectile Coulomb excitation. 54Cr level deduced g factor. Transient field technique, comparison with neighboring isotopes and with large-scale shell model calculations.
