Wobbling Phonon Excitations, Coexisting with Normal Deformed Structures in ¹⁶³Lu

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹³⁹La(²⁹Si, 5n), E=152 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ-ray polarization. ¹⁶³Lu deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, B(M1), B(E2), triaxial superdeformed bands, wobbling phonon excitations. Euroball IV array, particle-rotor model calculations.
