Collective Excitations in the Superdeformed Well

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁰Gd(³⁴S, 4n), E=156 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ-ray polarization. ¹⁹⁰Hg deduced superdeformed bands, multipolarity of inter-band transitions, collective excitation of excited band. Euroball-IV array.
