New Results on the Superdeformed ¹⁹⁶Pb Nucleus: Decay of the excited bands to the yrast band

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁸⁶W(¹⁶O, 6n), E=110 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγγ-coin. ¹⁹⁶Pb deduced superdeformed bands, dynamical moments of inertia. RPA model comparisons.
