Two Proton High Spin Excitations and Dipole Bands in ¹⁹²Hg

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁰Gd(³⁶S, 4n), E=159 MeV; measured γγ-coin. ¹⁹²Hg deduced high-spin levels, J, π, band structure, configuration. Mean-field HF plus BCS formalism calculations.
