Electron-Capture Delayed Fission Properties of the New Isotope ²³⁸Bk

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁴¹Am(α, 7n), E=75 MeV; measured residue production σ. ²³⁸Bk deduced EC-delayed fission probability, T_1/2. Isotope obtained by chemical separation, identification from daughter activity measurements.

RADIOACTIVITY ²³⁸Bk(EC) [from ²⁴¹Am(α, 7n), E=75 MeV]; measured EC-delayed fission (fragment)(X-ray)-coin, T_1/2; deduced delayed fission probability.
