Spectrum of γ Rays Connecting Superdeformed and Normal States in ¹⁹²Hg

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁰Gd(³⁶S, 4n), E=159 MeV; measured γγ-coin. ¹⁹²Hg deduced superdeformed to normal high-spin states transition, band coupling features.
