Multiple Band Structures in ¹⁹¹Hg

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁰Gd(³⁶S, 5n), E=162, 167, 172 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ(θ), Doppler shifts. ¹⁹¹Hg deduced levels, J, π band structures, deformation. Enriched target, Compton-suppressed Ge-detectors, central array of BGO hexagons. Cranked shell model calculations.
