New Determination of the Magnetic Moment of the ⁵⁴Fe(2⁺₁) State

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁸Si(⁵⁶Fe, ⁵⁶Fe'), (⁵⁴Fe, ⁵⁴Fe'), E=150 MeV; measured (particle)γ-coin, (particle)γ(θ), γ-anisotropy following Coulomb excitation. ⁵⁴Fe level deduced g-factor 2⁺. Transient magnetic fields, ferromagnetic Gd host.
