Electric and Magnetic Dipole Transitions from Broad s-Wave Neutron Resonance in Even-Even sd-Shell Nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁴Mg(n, γ), E=658 keV; ²⁸Si(n, γ), E=180 keV; ³²S(n, γ), E=103 keV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E, Eγ) at 125°. ²⁵Mg, ²⁹Si, ³³S levels deduced transition γ-multipolarity, partial radiative widths. Valence capture shell models, configuration mixing.
