Signature Inversion in ¹²⁰Cs: Evidence for a residual pn interaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹²Mo(³²S, n3p), E=145 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(Eγ, θ), (particle)γγ-coin. ¹²⁰Cs deduced levels, J, π, routhians, aligned angular momenta. Enriched targets, array of Compton suppressed hyperpure Ge detectors, array of neutron detectors, 4π array of Si charged particle detectors. Total routhian surface, two-particle plus triaxial rotor calculations.
