g Factors for Yrast States in Isotopic Doublets ^156,158Gd and ^166,168Er

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ^156,158Gd(⁵⁸Ni, ⁵⁸Ni'), ^166,168Er(⁵⁸Ni, ⁵⁸Ni'), E=130-217 MeV; measured γ(θ, H, T) in polarized Gd, Fe, (particle)γ-coin, following Coulomb excitation. ^156,158Gd, ^166,168Er levels deduced g-factors of ground state rotational bands. Cranked shell model and cranked HFB calculations. Thin foil transient-field IMPAC technique.
