Polarization Transfer in the ²³Na(p(pol), ²³Mg(pol))n, ³¹P(p(pol), ³¹S(pol))n, and ³⁵Cl(p(pol), ³⁵Ar(pol))n Reactions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ³¹P(polarized p, n), E=6.38-9.1 MeV; ³⁵Cl(polarized p, n), E=7.27-10.29 MeV; ²³Na(polarized p, n), E ≈ 7 MeV; measured residual nucleus β⁺-decay parity violating asymmetry; deduced polarization transfer coefficient energy dependence. NaI, red phosphorous, Cl₂, CCL₄-(He) mixture targets.

RADIOACTIVITY ³¹S [from ³¹P(polarized p, n), E=6.38-9.1 MeV]; ³⁵Ar [from ³⁵Cl(polarized p, n), E=7.27-10.29 MeV]; ²³Mg [from ²³Na(polarized p, n), E ≈ 7 MeV]; measured β⁺-decay parity violating asymmetry.
