Search for Superdeformed Shapes in ¹⁴⁴Gd

RADIOACTIVITY ¹⁴⁴Gd(EC), (IT) [from ¹²⁰Sn(²⁸Si, 4n), E=145 MeV]; measured γγ-transition energy correlation; deduced moment of inertia, shape characteristics, no evidence for superdeformation. Germaniaum detectors.
