Experimental Determination of the Electric Quadrupole Moment of the First Excited State of ¹⁹²Pt

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹²Pt(α, α'), E=14.4-15.2 MeV; ¹⁹²Pt(¹²C, ¹²C'), E=41-48 MeV; ¹⁹²Pt(¹⁶O, ¹⁶O'), E=55-60 MeV; measured Coulomb excitation probabilities of the first 2⁺ state. ¹⁹²Pt levels deduced B(E2), quadrupole moment. Enriched targets.
