Redetermination of the Quadrupole Moment of the First 2⁺ State in ¹⁹²Os and ¹⁹⁴Pt

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹²Os, ¹⁹⁴Pt(¹⁶O, ¹⁶O'), (¹⁶O, ¹⁶O), E=53 MeV; measured σ(E(¹⁶O')), Coulomb excitation, σ(elastic)/σ(inelastic). ¹⁹²Os, ¹⁹⁴Pt level deduced E2 transition matrix element, quadrupole moment. Semi-classical, coupled-channels analyses.
