High Lying Two-Neutron Hole States in ²⁰⁶Pb and ¹¹⁴Sn Observed via the (α, ⁶He) Reaction at 218 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁰⁸Pb, ¹¹⁶Sn(α, ⁶He), E=218 MeV; measured σ(E(⁶He)), σ(θ); deduced reaction mechanism. ¹¹⁴Sn, ²⁰⁶Pb deduced levels, J, π, L, configuration. Zero-range DWBA analysis.
