Excitation of Giant Resonance Modes in ⁹⁰Zr and ¹²⁰Sn by 200 MeV Protons

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹⁰Zr, ¹²⁰Sn(p, p'), E=200 MeV; measured σ(Ep, θ). ⁹⁰Zr deduced M1 transition strength. ⁹⁰Zr, ¹²⁰Sn deduced GDR, isoscalar GQR, giant octupole resonance, hexadecapole strength upper limit. Broad-range magnetic spectrograph.
