NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁰⁸Pb(α, α'), E=172 MeV; ²⁰⁸Pb(d, d'), E=86 MeV; measured σ(θ). ²⁰⁸Pb levels deduced transition radii, B(λ), βL, giant resonance character, EWSR.
