NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁴Sm, ¹⁷⁶Yb(p, p), (p, p'), E=0.8 GeV; measured σ(θ); deduced optical model parameters. ¹⁵⁴Sm, ¹⁷⁶Yb levels deduced deformation lengths. DWBA, coupled channel analysis, rotational model. Enriched targets.
