U.S. Nuclear Data Program

This page and the pages below it are not updated on a regular basis

The US Nuclear Data Program (USNDP), a DOE-funded project, brings together a number of Laboratories to assemble, maintain, and disseminate a unified body of nuclear data to be used to support basic nuclear research and a wide variety of nuclear applications. These data include nuclear structure and nuclear reaction data, the decay properties of nuclei, nuclear masses, and astrophysical reaction rates.

There are a number of different "views" possible of the large body of nuclear information that has been collected or created over the years; for example, by subject (nuclear structure, nuclear reactions), by user community (astrophysics, medical physics, accelerator operations, reactors), or as educational material. Our site attempts to provide you with several possible routes to start burrowing into the subject of nuclear data --- we hope that we have provided a view to match your interests. If you have questions, suggestions for topics, or other comments on this site, please use our feedback form.

View
Come here to explore nuclear data by subject or discipline. You will find information on nuclear structure and reaction data, the decay properties of nuclei, nuclear masses, astrophysical reaction rates, and more.
User
View
Visit this page to explore nuclear data from the viewpoint of a particular user community, such as nuclear astrophysics, radioactive ion-beam physics, medical radiotherapy, accelerator applications and operations, nuclear medicine, neutron sources for material studies, environmental studies and waste management, radiation protection, criticality safety, and nuclear reactors.
Education
View
Come here to find out what nuclear data are, how they are produced, who works with nuclear data, and what nuclear data are used for in our society. You will also find more advanced articles on the research and applications that are supported by our efforts, and articles on how to make the best use of the capabilities that we provide through this site.
