Database version of April 11, 2024
The NSR database
is a bibliography of nuclear physics articles, indexed according to content and spanning
more than 100 years of research. Over 80 journals are checked
on a regular basis for articles to be included.
For more information, see the help page.
The NSR database schema and Web applications have undergone some recent changes.
This is a revised version of the NSR Web Interface.
An updated version of the NSR interface is currently in beta!
You can find it here.
Archive files from previous versions of NSR can be found here.

High-resolution laser spectroscopy of 27-32Al
NUCLEAR MOMENTS 27,28,29,30,31,32Al; measured hyperfine structure spectra of the 3s23p2P3/20 to 3s24s2S1/2 atomic transition using collinear laser spectroscopy at the COLLAPS-ISOLDE-CERN facility; deduced hyperfine parameters, magnetic dipole moments and spectroscopic quadrupole moments with reference to those for 27Al, isotope shifts and mean-square charge radii relative to 27Al. Comparison with theoretical calculations using ab initio valence space in-medium similarity renormalization group method (VS-IMSRG) with multiple sets of two- and three-nucleon forces from chiral effective field theory, and with previous available experimental results. Neutral atoms of 27,28,29,30,31,32Al produced in U(p, X), E=1.4-GeV, using uranium carbide target, followed by extraction from the target, ionized by a resonance ionization laser ion source (RILIS), accelerated to 30 keV, and finally mass separated.
