Abstract

I have used a simple model to compute matter radii for N1623, paying special attention to the configurations of the valence neutron(s). I compare results with recent predictions and with earlier matter radii extracted from measurements of interaction cross sections. The present calculations are closer to the experimental radii than any of the results from the other procedures.
