The appearance of new theoretical papers concerning matter radii of neutron-rich oxygen nuclei has prompted a return to this problem. New results provide no better agreement with experimental values than did previous calculations with a simple model. I maintain that there is no reason to adjust the ${}^{22}\mathrm{O}$ core in the ${}^{24}\mathrm{O}$ nucleus, and the case of ${}^{24}\mathrm{O}$ should be reexamined experimentally.
