Nuclear Science References (NSR)
NSR Reference Paper NIM A 640, 213 (2011)
Database version of April 11, 2024

The NSR database is a bibliography of nuclear physics articles, indexed according to content and spanning more than 100 years of research. Over 80 journals are checked on a regular basis for articles to be included. For more information, see the help page. The NSR database schema and Web applications have undergone some recent changes. This is a revised version of the NSR Web Interface.

Laser and decay spectroscopy of the short-lived isotope 214Fr in the vicinity of the N=126 shell closure

NUCLEAR MOMENTS 214Fr; measured hyperfine structure, isotope shifts, g factors, and change in mean-square charge-radii using collinear resonance ionization spectroscopy (CRIS) technique at ISOLDE-CERN facility. Comparison with mean square charge-radii values just before and after N=126 shell closure for Hg to Ra nuclei.

RADIOACTIVITY 214Fr, 214Ra, 210Rn(α)[214Fr from U(p, X), E=1.4 GeV at ISOLDE-CERN, using high resolution mass separator and ISCOOL radio-frequency gas-filled linear Paul trap]; measured α-spectra.
