Abstract

The He4 microscopic optical model potential is obtained by Green’s function method through nuclear matter approximation and local density approximation based on the effective Skyrme interaction. The microscopic optical model potential is analyzed and utilized to calculate the reaction cross sections and elastic scattering angular distributions for the target nuclei in the mass range 12A209 with incident He4 energy up to 400 MeV. The theoretical results are compared with the experimental data.
