Abstract

A detailed γ-ray spectroscopy of the lowest two negative-parity bands in Gd156 has been performed in the framework of the TetraNuc collaboration. Relative γ-ray intensities of all transitions connecting these bands as well as the ones to the ground-state band are presented. Angular distribution analysis has been performed to determine the nature and the mixing ratio of one of the newly established transitions linking the two excited bands.
