Abstract

Cross sections for (n,2n), (n,p), (n,n'α), (n,t), (n,d'), and (n,α) reactions have been measured on tantalum isotopes at the neutron energies of 13.5 to 14.7 MeV using the activation technique. Data are reported for the following reactions: Ta181(n,2n)Ta180g, Ta181(n,p)Hf181, Ta181(n,n'α)Lu177m, Ta181(n,t)Hf179m2, Ta181(n,d')Hf180m, and Ta181(n,α)Lu178m. The neutron fluences were determined using the monitor reaction Al27(n,α)Na24. Results were discussed and compared with the previous works.
