Abstract
The very neutron deficient odd-odd nucleus was studied in reactions of 342 and 348 MeV beams with an isotopically enriched target. The decays previously reported for were confirmed and the decay chain extended down to through the discovery of a new -decaying state in [ keV; ms; ]. Fine structure in these decays of and were identified. A new -decaying state was also observed and assigned as the ground state in [ keV; ms]. This decay chain was also correlated down to through previously reported decays. Prompt rays from excited states in have been identified using the recoil-decay tagging technique. The partial level scheme constructed for indicates that it has an irregular structure. Possible configurations of the -decaying states in are discussed in terms of the systematics of nuclei in this region and total Routhian surface calculations.
