Abstract

A microscopic helium-3 optical potential is obtained by Green function method through nuclear matter approximation and local density approximation based on the effective Skyrme interaction. The reaction cross sections and the elastic scattering angular distributions are calculated by the microscopic optical potential for nuclides in the mass range 12A208 with incident helium-3 energies from threshold up to 200 MeV. The results of theoretical calculations are compared with the experimental data.
